Call for Innovative Sessions

Just like "organized sessions" in previous conferences, the purpose of "Innovative Sessions" is to present a group of papers with new, unestablished topics such as "Aerial Manipulation", "Cognitive Sensor Fusion", "Dexterous In-Hand Manipulation", "Logistics Robots", “Robotic 3D assembly”, etc. The goal of these sessions is that the proposed authors can meet to discuss the topic, and their papers, like any other IROS paper, will be reviewed and – if accepted – published in the proceedings.

IROS 2015 Innovative Sessions welcome active members or coordinators of ongoing collaborative projects, focused PhD research training groups, special interest groups, or any other organizers to submit proposals by emailing the completed template to . Click here to download the template for OpenOffice or Word.

Proposals for Innovative Sessions are to be submitted by January 23, 2015. The decision on acceptance/rejection will be sent by January 31, 2015. Proposals with significant overlap will possibly be merged. The papers organized by the accepted sessions will then be submitted to the PaperPlaza system by March 1, 2015  and undergo the same strict review process like all other IROS 2015 papers.
